About the Artist: Jiten Hazarika was born in Assam, and studied civil engineering, and served in the army before becoming an artist. His knowledge of philosophy and Sanskrit Literature are apparent in his work which has eye-catching rhythms, vibrant color harmonies and arresting spatial configurations.

Color Scheme:-

In this painting through the color of brown’s depiction of women, civilization has been portrayed. Each civilization had its own beliefs and ideas. The Ancient civilization saw to it that women were held in high regard and were fairly equal to males. Women were looked at as important in society relating all aspects of life. -Zanaida

Poetry:-

When i learned to love myself,

I began to feel everything,

come alive around me,

flowers bursting at the seams,

as my release opened the door,

to new beginnings.
