Insurance and Damage Policy

At Pranjal Arts, we understand the value and significance of each piece of art.
We take extensive care to ensure that your paintings are packed securely and shipped safely.
However, in rare circumstances of damage during transit, our Insurance and Damage Policy applies.

1. Shipping Insurance

  • All orders shipped by Pranjal Arts are covered under shipping insurance until they are delivered to you.

  • The insurance covers:

    • Physical damage during transit.

    • Loss of shipment by the courier company.

Once delivered and acknowledged by the customer, the insurance coverage ends.

2. Reporting Damages

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Notify us immediately within 48 hours of delivery.

  2. Send an email to 📩 info@pranjalarts.com with:

    • Your order number.

    • Clear photos and videos showing the damaged product and packaging.

    • A brief description of the damage.

Important:

  • Failure to report within 48 hours may disqualify your claim for insurance or replacement.

3. Assessment and Resolution

After receiving your damage claim:

  • Our team will review the provided evidence.

  • We may request the return of the damaged artwork for inspection.

  • If the claim is approved, you will be offered:

    • A replacement (if available).

    • Or a full refund.

    • Or store credit for future purchases.

Note: Refunds for damaged artwork are only processed after receipt and inspection.

4. Non-Eligible Situations for Damage Claims

Damage claims will not be accepted if:

  • Damage occurred after delivery.

  • Artwork was mishandled, modified, or altered by the customer.

  • Damage was due to incorrect unpacking by the customer.

  • Minimal variations in texture, color, or finish, as these are natural to handmade artworks.

5. Packaging Standards

All artworks are:

  • Packed with multiple layers of protective materials.

  • For fragile or high-value pieces, wooden crating or reinforced boxes are used.

  • Special care is taken for international shipments to meet export-grade packaging standards.

6. Lost Shipments

If a shipment is lost by the courier:

  • After an official investigation with the courier, we will either:

    • Reship a replacement (if available).

    • Or provide a full refund.
