Poetry:

Racing at the speed of a jet plane

Into a hazy future

Into a time

That is yet to take place

Killing me softly, in anticipation.

Delving deep into the past

Like a submarine.

Gazing at things gone wrong

Into moments echoing silent screams

Which no one heard but you.

Weeping and brooding over times

That you cannot change

Killing me softly, in regret.

For once

Like a friend

Can you just have a silent walk with me?

Help me breathe a sigh of relief

Help me feel, that I'm in a carefree place

The now, the present.

For once

Can you just let things be the way it is?

My dear worrisome mind…
