TO Fall In Love, Through A Painting

Love in a Painting

“A painting that can mesmerise a soul,

a painting that can help lift your mood,

a painting that is therapeutic,

a painting that can help you fall in love.”

There are many artworks that depict love and togetherness. It shows the sweetest side of romance and the unconditional love that a couple can have.

These are some of the paintings that can help us fall in love

Dance in the Country by Renoir (1883):

Renoir's lovers are swept away by summer's heat, music, and dancing - and by each other. His hat has fallen to the ground, and she is barely holding on to her fan as he grabs her by the wrist and waist. The entire picture appears to be swaying. Her smile shows us that being loved and to love does make us feel happy.

The Kiss by Klimt (1908):

The lovers are enfolded in their everlasting kiss, wrapped up in one another. Their love is extraordinary, perhaps angelic, as their heads are haloed in gold leaf. Young lovers frequently seem like a perfect square of canvas, a perfect match of a couple, dovetailed together in their kiss while the world dissolves into a shimmer around them.

Self-Portrait as a Tehuana by Frida Kahlo (1943):

After Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera divorced in the late summer of 1940, she began working on this double portrait. Kahlo, as is her wont, makes metaphor literal. Despite the misery of his adulterous relations, Diego is on her mind, tattooed on her brain, and imprisoned within her thoughts. She can't seem to get his name out of her head. But their romance didn't end there. By the time the picture was finished, in 1943, they had remarried.

Love by Robert Indiana (1965):

The word has a romantic connotation. The image, on the other hand, is significantly more than a single word. That wonderful round O takes on a corporeal form beside the tall L and is supported by the bracing E. It swoons, bends, and turns its head. It has been knocked sideways by love. With this exceedingly famous picture, lettered in the colour of love against a blue and green landscape, American pop artist Robert Indiana created a pure and concentrated modern pictogram.
