NFT Artists Of India

Indian artists can put their digital assets like art works, audio files, videos, and even tweets, for auction over the blockchain-based NFT marketplace to gain royalty. Artists can sell their works on exclusive sites like NiftyGateway, OpenSea, SuperRare, and Foundation, while others, like Rarible, are available to the public. Some of the famous Indian artists are:

  1. Amrit Pal Singh: Amrit Pal Singh sold two pieces for 15 ETH (roughly Rs. 18 lakh) on Foundation. These were toy models of Daft Punk, a French electronic music duo that recently dissolved. It's one of a series of toy faces he's sold, including Frida Kahlo, Vincent van Gogh, Sherlock Holmes, and Malala Yousafzai, and he's working on more. In a nine-year career, Singh has launched mobile apps, a merchandise store, card games and a directory platform, but nothing has succeeded like the toy face NFTs.

  2. Adhiraj Singh: Adhiraj Singh, a Delhi-based 3D artist and owner of LOTA Design, a sustainable digi-fashion brand, has also dabbled in NFTs. He's about to auction off some of his works, including a digital model and influencer's "selfie."

3. Siraj Hassan: Based from Chennai Siraj Hassan's Caged collection, which includes miniature trees and human figures encased in glass bell cloches, has sold 27 pieces. These works were created during the lockdown and focus on loneliness and mental health.

4. Khyati Trehan: By day, Khyati works as a Senior Communication Designer at IDEO Munich, where she helps intangible assets gain clarity, movement, and identity. By night, she turns into an independent visual artist who gives shape to emotions.
